I’ve been spending the last few weeks digging into mid-to-late 90s Emo — Clarity-era Jimmy Eat World, Mineral, American Football, The Promise Ring, Jawbreaker, Texas Is The Reason (barf on that band name) and others. I don’t know how I missed this stuff in high-school given the fact I loved post-hardcore/screamo so much.
